Janet Bamgbade, LCSW, MBA (She/Her/Hers)
A graduate of Columbia University with a Masters in Social Work and a minor in Law, as well as Fitchburg State University with a Masters of Business Administration, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and families over the past decade. From advocating for aging adults, to working for greater social and economic justice, to providing services to those battling mental health, trauma, substance abuse, addiction, and grief, I strive to provide effective care that truly puts the individual first and at the center of everything we do.
With that in mind, I focus on utilizing evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness practices, and family sculpting in my practice. No two people are the same, and neither are their circumstances, and I adapt treatment methods and plans for individuals and families to effectively address their unique situations. Having the opportunity to not only change lives, but to impact others around me for the better, truly drives my passion, and our team has tremendous experience providing group and individual counseling in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings.
I’m excited to bring my skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, rapport-building, and team collaboration to our program. As the Executive Clinical Director for our West Orange, NJ location, my focus is on delivering inclusive and effective treatment within a welcoming and safe environment, and I’m committed to helping clients achieve the healthy quality of life that fits their goals. My team and I are excited to meet you and take this journey with you!
