Janet Bamgbade, LCSW, MBA (She/Her/Hers)
Janet Bamgbade has tremendous experience in both individual and group counseling. A graduate of Fitchburg State University with Masters of Business Administration and Columbia University with a Masters in Social Work and minor in Law, Janet has worked with an array of individuals and families within the community. From advocating for aging older adults, greater social and economic justice, to utilizing evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness practices, and family sculpting, to provide services to those battling mental health, trauma, substance abuse, addiction and grieving.
Janet has experience in providing group and individual counseling in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings. She is also skilled in problem solving, conflict resolution, building client rapport, and supporting colleagues, and team collaboration. She's exceptional at presenting and implementing solutions towards clients' needs. She lives by the motto: "Define yourself, as opposed to being defined by others."
Janet aspires to incorporate a holistic approach, of mind, body, and spirit, into all of her sessions.
