As Executive Clinical Director of Forge Health West Orange, I focus on providing a warm and welcoming environment that allows clients to achieve a healthy quality of life. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Masters in Professional Counseling, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and families for almost a decade.
Getting help is not always an easy thing to do, which is why I strive to make accessing treatment as stress-free as possible.
For those struggling with anything from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, or substance disorders, my approach to care puts the individual first, centering services on unique needs and concerns. With that in mind, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care.
Building a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients is of the utmost importance to me. I try to create an atmosphere in which therapy is seen as a beneficial experience, rather than a chore. Our West Orange team has extensive experience providing group and individual counseling as part of our outpatient programs to help people become the best version of themselves.
We’re excited to meet you and take this journey together!
