David Duren, PhD

Dr. David Duren holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a doctoral certification in addiction treatment. A 12-year Army combat veteran with multiple deployments in Afghanistan, David was awarded the Purple Heart.

His experiences in combat drew him to helping veterans and first responders, and David has previously held positions at the Wounded Warrior Project and the Massachusetts Veterans Treatment court.

David earned his doctorate from American University in Washington, DC, and his Master of Science from Liberty University in Virginia. He currently serves on the Federal Advisory Committee for Reentry with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and he is a former clinical advisor to the Dedham District Veterans Treatment Court in Massachusetts. David is a sought-after trainer and speaker on veterans issues, both locally and nationally.
